Crop Walk 2014

THIS WILL BE OUR 26TH WALK!  Come join walkers from the churches of Montville, Kinnelon, Pequannock and Lincoln Park.  Help us raise money to feed the hungry, both abroad and especially here at home.  Our local food pantries are busier than ever and need our help.  Remember--twenty-five percent of the money raised by the walk will come back to local agencies.

Last year was our best year ever--we raised $24,286.32 and $1,517.00 was given to each of the three fool pantries we support as well as Homeless Solutions in Morristown.  Since our walk started in 1988 we've raised $336,448.61.  That means approximately $84,000.00 has been given to the local agencies, including the Lincoln Park, Montville, and Pequannock Food Pantries as well as Homeless Solutions.

For those of you unfamiliar with CROP Walks, our walk is a three mile walk with one water station.  It starts and ends at St. Joseph's Church on Comly Road in Lincoln Park.  Refreshments will be served at the end of the walk.  There is also a one mile walk for those who would prefer a shorter walk.  For those who are unable to walk we need donors and we need some volunteers to help the day of the walk.  This is an opportunity to help others while getting a little bit of exercise.   It's also an ecumenical effort and a chance to meet and greet members of other churches.  Please join us.
